The main problem in os like Ubuntu is you require updates of plugins & pakages to use its latest features like media ,language,etc pakages…For this you must need an internet connections.So what about those who doesn’t have internet.Does they have to arrange all the debian(or tar,gz) files separatly?

So here is the solution. “APTonCD”

THA GUI-based tool that allows you to create a CD/DVD with all downloaded packages with APT-GET, creating a removable-repository. APTonCD will also allow you to download and create automaticaly DVDs with all Deb packages avaliable in a specific repository.

This means if any of your friends have all the pakages then you simply burn an iso file(containing all his pakaes)from APTon CD.you simply use this iso cd.

go to synaptic manages ->settings->add cd

that is now you can simply update your Ubuntu(else.) to latest plugins & pakages without any pains
