Yes its true as by the title their is some whose name is Xnview which can manipulate more than 400 formates of camera ,pocket pc,mobile device etc.
All images like RAW, JPG, GIF, TIFF, and other still images all the way through AVI, MOV, MPEG, and a multitude of movie formats can be easily handed over it. It can also support metadata EXIF and IPTC formats.
More over its also preloded with a tools for taking screenshots.In simple words its a a powerful library for developers who would like to support graphics image formats.
