Gadgets: Ring Clock

There was a time, when time lived in pockets. Pocket Watches ruled the scene and they were very popular in the 1900’s. As they say, necessity is the mother of invention. Someone somewhere got too tired of pulling out his pocket watch from his waistcoat and put time on the wrist. For a century now, people have loved to carry and flaunt watches on their wrist and rightfully so.

Now there is a new threat! Smartphones have become the desired way to check out the time. Taking an example from my own book, I wear a wrist watch but I seldom use to look at time. I end up taking out that 5” screen from my pocket and look at it every time I have to keep track of time. But I kind-off feel that watches are here to stay. Even if, we don’t use them they have become a way we accessorize in. For some men especially, watches are among the only accessory they carry. Now at the crossroads of time, we have a new entrant. A timepiece that very different and pretty geeky way to tell the time.

Made from surgical grade stainless steel, the Ring Clock tells you the time through very cool cyan or orange LEDs that shine through the outlines of numbers.
