How to Download Free Music on Your iPod

- Search google or another search engine for the song/artist/album you want. make sure that the file you download is in the proper format for the ipod.
- Look for a free music blog. You can find links to these at iLounge
- Limewire or Soulseek are good P2P clients. Bit torrent is also a good source for whole cds, or even complete discographies.
- Subscribe to music podcasts via iTunes or iPodder.
- Visit sites like garageband.com for songs by emerging new artists.
- Look for music that is within the public domain or licensed through Creative Commons. The Internet Archive is a great place to find these types of music, which aren’t copywritten.
- iTunes has a featured song each week which can be downloaded for free.
- Hack any artist’s site. The artist must be with WB and have the song on their web site. Using a swf decoder its possibly to legally rip the song from it.
- Get a good bittorrent client like Azureus and search torrent sites like thepiratebay.org

- Using a P2P program is almost always illegal, because you are getting other peoples work without paying for it. If you still want to do this, do it at your own risk!
