How to unchrome your Google Chrome
If you are confused about the heading (How to unchrome your Google Chrome) and have questions that what is unchrome? then you need to think about the Google latest release “Chrome “.In my last post on Google chrome i tell you about the features behind Google Chrome and why google is building a browser but do you know: Each Google Chrome installation contains a unique ID that allowing identifying its users who install it on their system.
For those who don’t know about Chrome
Google Chrome is a browser that combines a best use of system memory and as a result of minimal design with sophisticated technology to make the web faster, safer, and easier.
So if you don’t want to get chromed and wants to unchromed ( i.e don’t want to get identify by the google chrome) then here is an application named UnChrome. This application was designed to remove the unique ID that allowing identifying of your sytem.
How It works
It replaces your unique ID with Null values so that your browser cannot be identified any longer. The functionality of Google Chrome is not influenced by this. You only need to apply UnChrome only once.
How To Apply Unchrome
- Close the Google Chrome
- Download this application
- Install the unchrome application
- Now your chrome installation is anonymized
