Hitting the charts clearly through the highway came the new single ‘drive’ by the American Alternative band Incubus, from their 1999 album make yourself. Released in late 2000, the song related itself with a breakthrough, eventually grasped the image of being band’s hottest single mounting the top of Billboards modern rock charts and # 9 in billboard’s top 100 in 2001. Backing up as a soundtrack in movies such as surf’s up and is it college yet ? , the song is a playable track in the North American and European versions of the Donkey conga 2 video game and also appears in the game Karaoke revolution party.

The music video is based on M.C.Escher’s Drawing Hands.

Video of this single reflects beauty of single handed imagination drawn upon simple acoustic guitar to majestic vocals. Brandon boyd’s sketching himself in the video creates a tranquil flow with the music and as the song proceeds, the divine music leads to the fulfillment of plenary enchantment of a rock soul!
