LG G2: What Makes it so Unique?

The LG G2 stands out as a flagship device from the horde of devices out there. It does that by employing several tricks up its sleeve both on the hardware as well as software front. Lets look at the features that make the LG G2 so unique.

KnockOn

The KnockOn feature on the LG G2 is one interesting trick that lets you wake up or put your device back to sleep by simply knocking on the device without taking any trouble to reach the power buttons. This makes sense given that the size of the device is going north of 5″ and reaching out to the buttons  is difficult.

Guest Mode

The guest mode on the LG G2 is one feature that is going to please the privacy freaks among us. Many of us are not usually comfortable sharing our devices for they are a huge storehouse of personal information and photos. The guest mode lets you select the apps, files, etc that you have no issues in sharing with the guest. It then asks you to set a different password or a lock screen pattern for the guest mode. Users logging in through the guest mode will only have access to those apps, pictures and videos that you want to share with them.

Volume and Power Buttons

LG went through a lot of research to find the perfect place to put the volume and power buttons. Given that at these times, the dimensions of the smartphones are increasing day by day and reaching out to the buttons on the top or even the sides is not very comforting. Single hand operation takes a big hit. By putting the buttons at the back, the user can simply reach them with their index finger. Sounds good to hear, but it requires a bit of learning on part of the user.
