Sometime back we came to know that out of 75 Million users only 17% are active on Twitter. But this is not the case with Facebook, in fact it is far better in statistics than Twitter. The latter social network has about 350 Million monthly active users and a new statistics reveled about Facebook, which is most relevant says 175 million people login to Facebook every day.

TechCrunch interviewed Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg who said

Facebook has more than doubled in size to 350 million registered users in the last year. By this summer well over half of all Internet users will likely visit Facebook each month. Half of all registered users still log in to Facebook every day, says Sandberg in the interview. That’s 175 million people. And that doesn’t include Facebook Connect logins, only those people that visit the Facebook website.

Whichever way we look at Facebook, it is huge. That’s half of the people often using Facebook, i.e. logging in at least once a month or logging in each day. To put it in further viewpoint, it’s more people than Facebook had in total last year. The social network started in 2009 with 150 million active users and more than doubled in the last year worldwide.
