Adobe Unveils Flash For iPhone Too

Last week we had a great news of Adobe introducing Flash 10.1 player that enabled all Adobe Flash content to be handy on smartphones, blackberry and PCs. This meant you’ll be able to play Flash-based games and view Flash-based videos and Web sites including Hulu. But it was saddening for the iPhone users as Adobe said that they are still working to make the Flash Player compatible on the iPhone OS, but are hindered by limitations within the platform.
Anyhow now Adobe is trying to keep the iPhone users happy by unveiling an upcoming version of Adobe’s Creative Suite developer tools will let Flash developers export their projects as iPhone apps. This upcoming developer suite doesn’t anyhow solve the biggest problem of lack of Flash support in Web browsers to make huge black spaces in some web pages for iPhone users. However, give developers a chance to bring their work to the trendy handset.
All we’re doing is enabling output from our tools to a native iPhone app,” Adobe Director of Technical Marketing for Mobile and Devices Anup Murarka said. “We’re not trying to invent completely new features on the Flash side that would otherwise be specific to the iPhone. This is really about bridging the gap, enabling [developers] to deliver their first set of iPhone apps,” he added.
