Apple wipe out the support of Snow Leopard on atom processors
Now it seems that apple launches the updates of Snow Leopard in very hurry. If you are the user of atom processors then its a bad news for you as apple confirmed to wipe out the support of Snow Leopard on atom processors. Snow Leopard 10.6.2 seems to be in fuzz since it launched and people who able to hack the atom processors ( termed as “Hackintosh” ) for Snow Leopard are in worry now. Snow Leopard have few issues for the atom processors and expert advised to stay with previous versions.
Few experts like StellaRoll posted in his blogpost that
In the current developer build of 10.6.2, Apple appears to have changed around a lot of CPU related information. One of the effects of this is Apple killing off Intel’s Atom chip.
Though apple doesn’t have enough supports for the atom notebooks but leaving the support will sure drag the atom users into a bit worry. Now all the atom processors user can hope for the next update of Snow Leopard 10.6.2 and wishes to re start the support for them too.
