Dell and MTNL in news for tie up in 3G wireless solutions

Yes, you hear right that Dell and MTNL are going for a partnership. The tie up is for offering 3G wireless mobility solutions on Dell’s select range of laptops and netbooks (as far now). Initially Mumbai and Delhi have the exclusive laptops of Dell. I remembers the tag lines followed in MTNL website

class telecom and IT related services and to become a global player

  • The models will have embedded 3G Ericsson module
  • The models have inbuild GPS and MTNL SIM
  • The models will have MTNL national roaming facility
  • The models does not require any extra hardwares or ports (like USB ports) for accessing the internet
  • Initially the bundled offer will be available on Dell’s Inspiron Mini 10 netbook which is priced at about Rs 30,000/-
