Facebook Introduce Bigger Photos For Better Viewing
With 400 million users Facebook now decided that its users deserve to see a little more of their friends and themselves. So, Facebook’s new photo uploader will now be exactly 116 pixels wider as the size lime augmented from 604 to 720 pixels. This is almost 20-percent of increase than the earlier. The move has been known for a while now and it’s vague if it is escorted by a reduction in size of the profile photos.

When it comes to viewing photos, we think bigger is better. We’ve begun increasing the maximum size for photos on Facebook by almost 20 percent to 720 pixels to give you higher quality photos and make viewing them more enjoyable.
You’ll start to notice the larger size as you upload new photos to Facebook or browse new photo albums from your friends. Older photos will remain in the previous maximum size of 604 pixels.
This might sound like a small change, but then can we ignore anything that is affecting 400 million users? Definitely not and this change will be rolling out to all users in next few days after that any image uploaded from the Facebook will max out at 720 pixels wide or tall depending on the layout.
