Today the world is smaller as we are better connected. Here, Internet is playing a chief role in marketing the world shrink. Thanks, to internet that today loads of impossible are made possible and many non happenings are part of life. Truly, this one has marked a vast impact on our lives, and today is the 40th anniversary of creation of this amazing tool. For the tech-savvy people, it’s time for a celebration!
The brighter side
- Most of us today cannot imagine our lives without online world. We are no more on days when we had to search directories for number to locate, hotels, tourist place, entertainment and others. Just a Google search and you get in-depth information about anything and everything.
- Internet has also helped us create a market for fresh technologies, opened the room for massive knowledge and offered access to unlimited fun.
- There has been a revolutionary change in major sectors like education, communication and other aspects of everyday life. Many people tend to travel 25 days a month, and for them internet is no less than a blessing.
- It gave birth to IT industry and allowed the world to connect in time. Conceivably the vital outcome of internet is communication.
The darker side
- There is always a flip side to anything in this world. Internet has made one go obsessive. Even if it goes down for few minutes we feel as if we are facing some major loss in life.
- On the other hand, some also feel that the constant attention give to computer online has dwindled the charm of other activities.
- The art of letter writing and activities of reading has gone down to a greater extend.
- Every year so many children fall victim to internet predators.
- Every year we see so many people fall victim to internet predators.
However this does not change the fact that internet has changed many lives. And for sure it is a positive tool. Many have got their first job via Internet and others found their important client with it. This tool has become an essential necessity for all sections of society by adding lot of value to personal and professional life. So beyond doubt the tool took birth on October 29, 1969 is here to stay and is loved by all.
