MySpace1 MySpace Music Now In UK Music industry has always been on a hype and MySpace tops the popularity chart. Recently the company offered its free music service to US, New Zealand and Australia and now MySpace launches the music service in UK. MySpace Music will be completely free in the UK with an ad-supported revenue model. There would be ads appearing in between songs as all the advertising will be on the site itself as most website performs. No clue on how many songs will be streamed down, but company promises to be millions of it.

In a place where Spotify is well-established, MySpace may find it difficult to up-hill beyond. Yet the unique thing about MySpace is that it has also signed a deal with PRS for Music, an UK rights group which claims to represent some 65,000 artists in the country, and any of its members could receive royalties from the songs they have on MySpace.
