MySpace’s New Slogan “Discover And Be Discovered”
With Facebook reaching 400 million users and Twitter picking up fast, MySpace is losing its importance. However, MySpace is not yet declared dead, there is much more life left with it or at least that’s what the News Corp claims. For past few months it is been concentrating on content as a differentiating factor but now you would see MySpace going in a new direction, discovery. Users can now take advantage of people discovery, content discovery and much more. Looks like MySpace desires to be the place where you go to get all the cool new stuff.
According to TechCrunch, MySpace actually held a meeting, after the ousting of CEO Owen van Natta, with all of its local and international employees to expose the change in direction. MySpace’s new slogan is “Discover and be Discovered,” and social networking would take a backseat to content discovery and recommendation. The idea is clearly visible that MySpace wants its users want to come back to more often if there’s new stuff to find so they begin to get all sorts of recommendations, some of which may be ads.
There is lot more a MySpace lover may expect as the site is going to be redesigned completely with new branding and direction. On the other hand, content discover is certainly not a novel idea and there are lot of sites already exist with the same idea. But the advantage for MySpace here is that none of those sites are truly popular and it now has a chance to move ahead of all those not-so-popular sites!

I’ve been surfing online greater than 3 hours today, but I never found any fascinating article like yours. It’s lovely worth enough for me. In my view, if all webmasters and bloggers made good content as you did, the web will likely be a lot more useful than ever before. London Escorts Time, 1 Heathcock Ct, London, WC2R 0NT, 020 3011 2591
