What Next On Google’s List After Google Phone? Google Energy?
By now you already know Google is up to lot of things these days. We saw operating systems, phone and unsurprisingly now the Mountain View Company is getting into utility business called Google Energy. It may not want to compete with other established companies, but as of now Google requested federal regulators in US to approve the license of becoming a wholesaler of electricity to achieve its carbon neutral plans.
According to CNET
Google is seeking to become a carbon-neutral company by improving the efficiency of its operations, including its energy-hungry data centers. It also has a program of purchasing “high-quality” carbon offsets and it has invested in a renewable energy companies through its philanthropic arm, Google.org.
“Right now, we can’t buy affordable, utility-scale, renewable energy in our markets,” Google representative Niki Fenwick said. “We want to buy the highest quality, most affordable renewable energy wherever we can and use the green credits… We don’t have any concrete plants. We want the ability to buy and sell electricity in case it becomes part of our portfolio,” he added.
To achieve the plan Google has set up a subsidiary called Google Energy, which is based in Delaware last month. After requesting license from Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), Google is now waiting for the approval. But we approval should not be a problems and soon we would see Google Energy a success.

Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this site. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s difficult to get that “perfect balance” between user friendliness and appearance. I must say you have done a very good job with this. Also, the blog loads extremely quick for me on Internet explorer. Exceptional Blog!

of course like your web site but you need to check the spelling on quite a few of your posts. A number of them are rife with spelling problems and I find it very bothersome to tell the truth nevertheless I will definitely come back again.
