Yahoo Highlights Emails From Your Friends

Overload of emails is not a new problem to users and at some point of time users also get irritated reading mails. So what they do is either deletes them in bulk or just mark it read. By doing this you might often miss some interesting or important mail from someone close to you. Here Yahoo takes the initiative and moves in the right direction by coming up with few nice features. There have been two features – one will help you be more social and another will retrieve your mail easily from the person that is important to you.

With the new welcome page – ‘What’s New’ – you can now easily find the important mail from those who matter most. In addition, you can now get updates from people you’re close to. And from the Inbox and folders, you can filter your mail to see just the mail from your contacts or connections.

1. The first great feature enables users to get a fast overview of the emails they get from their friends and family in their Contacts lists highlighted in red.

2. The second new feature adds the same social tools that have been popping up all over Yahoo proprieties of late, from the home page to Yahoo Messenger. In the Updates section of the “What’s New” page, users would be able to be in line with their friends’ activities on a number of social networks, blogs or various sites and services like Yelp and YouTube all in one place.

These features aren’t live for all users, but Yahoo says it would be soon coming to all!
