YouTube Uploaders Add 24 Hours Of Video Every Minute

Even with great diversity of web, users are surrounded with just handful of sites. This holds really true for site like YouTube, which is the biggest video sites on the planet. But here the great news is that this biggest video sites is getting even bigger and its users are now uploading 24 hours’ worth of video every minute, up from 20 hours several months ago.

Hunter Walk, Director, Product Management YouTube Wrote -

In May of last year, we announced 20 hours of video were uploaded to YouTube every minute. We then challenged you to keep the uploads coming to see whether or not we could get a day’s worth of video – 24 hours – uploaded in the same brief time span.

Today, we’re announcing that you’ve done it! In just 60 quick ticks of the second hand, more than a full, action-packed day in Jack Bauer’s life is now uploaded to YouTube

YouTube is beyond doubt grown and expanded its efforts to monetize its videos, but the challenge of YouTube will start making money in 2010 is not yet done. However on the upload part YouTube might also consider on the growing cost with each video upload.
