Now orkut have status updates features after Facebook and twitter
Today while checking the scrap of my orkut profile, i noticed the “status updates” function in it.It reminds me of FaceBook and Twitter status updates.It is quite obvious that this feature smells quite cool but i’m thinking that “its very boring to maintain facebook,orkut,hi5,myspace,and twitter at the same time”. In my most of the social networking profile some friends are common and i don’t get solid reasons to use all of them.Just think over it “when all of the social networking websites are going to have almost identical features then why not their should be a common API which can drag the common updates into all the network“. Anyway Orkut is getting better and better day by day and if you likes any uncommon and specific features in it please do share it here.

I agree. Now with so many social networking websites, it is becoming difficult to maintain status on all of them. We desperately need an API/ common mechanism for updating all of them.

Yeah, there is a way to pipe your Twitter updates to simultaneously update your Facebook status. I don’t know of anything similar on Orkut, but I’m looking…
