open cd by DOS -EJ.COM 1.04
This is an MS-DOS-based program, and intended only for CD-ROM drives. It attempts to communicate with the CD-ROM redirector MSCDEX. If the drive is not controlled by MSCDEX or a close emulation, a disk eject request is sent using the IOCTL interface instead. If not running under DOS (e.g. Windows NT/2000/XP), or if the specified drive is not a CD-ROM (say, a Zip or LS-120 drive), then the eject attempt may or may not succeed; only experimentation can tell whether it will work.
