Proxomitron-download
A free, highly flexible, user-configurable, compact yet extremely powerful, local HTTP Web-filtering proxy with capabilities that are truly tremendous. To name only a few: fake HTTP headers (e.g., you can fake the User-Agent header, making it appear as though you were using, let’s say, Netscape and Linux when in fact you are using IE and Windows XP; you can fake Referer, making it appear as though you came from a web page you have actually never been to; fake Accept-Language (make it look as if the default language on your computer were Chinese when in fact it’s English); fake Client-IP, Via, X-Forwarded-For (this will fool snoopy web servers into thinking you are using a certain proxy when in fact you’re not), and many more HTTP headers your browser sends out on a regular (or not very much so) basis (in Proxomitron’s HTTP message log window, you can view outgoing and incoming headers as they are being sent and received by your browser). Change proxies on the fly, prevent banners from being downloaded, kill pop-ups, disable nosy JavaScripts (or all scripts), prevent graphics from being downloaded from certain web sites (or from all web sites), block connection to certain web sites (or to all web sites, if this makes any sense); kill cookies (or fake cookies, making it appear as though a certain server has placed a certain cookie on your computer when in fact it never did); change font sizes, colors, and everything else you think is worth changing on any web page. The program’s special language lets you write your own filters. Proxomitron is compatible with any browser.
