3. The Whuffie Factor by Tara Hunt
The Whuffie Factor is a step forward book, offering the strategic map and precise tactics for success in the profitable, but strange and indefinable world of online communities. Introducing a wide range of post-blogosphere social networks like Facebook, LinkedIn and Flickr, Hunt clues in marketers to the possibilities with online success stories, influential voices and winning strategies. Further the book catches the peak of Web 2.0 and show how any business can bind its power by augmenting their Whuffie, the store of social capital that is the currency of the digital world. You can buy this book for $16.50

Former U.S. senator Bill Bradley stated “Tribes is a must read for all of us. It’s up to each one of us to lead in today’s new kind of world.” This interesting book by Godin argues that lasting and substantive change can be best effected by a tribe: a group of people connected to each other, to a leader and to an idea. . Smart innovators find or assemble a movement of similarly minded individuals and get the tribe excited by a new product, service or message, often via the Internet (consider, for example, the popularity of the Obama campaign, Facebook or Twitter). You can buy this book for $13.57.

5. The New Community Rules by Tamar Weinberg
If you are trying to get your arms around Web 2.0 and social media and how you or your business can take part in it then The New Community Rules is your key to success. 6. Crush It! by Gary Vaynerchuk
Gary Vaynerchuk is New York Times bestselling author and in this book he shares his experience and step-by-step advice for using Twitter, Facebook, etc., and suggestions for monetizing an online persona, reiterating that the Internet makes it possible for anyone to make serious cash by turning what they love most into their personal brand. His enthusiasm is admirable and his advice solid, but there’s nothing new here, and his unappealing swagger—repeated stories of how he crushed it and dominated grate particularly—gives his story more the tone of adolescent peacocking than of worthwhile and sober business advice. You can buy this book for $13.59.

Groundswell is a bestselling book based on analysis by Forrester Research loaded with practical, data-based strategies for businesses that desire to bind the power of social media technologies like blogs, social networks, and YouTube. In this book, Joel cites such success stories as Gary Vaynerchuk of Wine Library, who transformed his parents’ New Jersey liquor store from a $4 million business to a $45 million one in five years by connecting to Facebook and Twitter and creating a video podcast to lure customers. Joel has created an eminently readable guide to harnessing the various tools available across the virtual landscape. You can buy this book for $17.81.
