Before Adobe Photoshop CS4 i used to scale the the images with the help of free transform tool. Free transform tool distort the image proportion ratio and needs further fixes. Adobe Photoshop CS4 launched a new feature named “Content Aware Scaling” which is an intelligent scaling technology and an awesome transforming tool. In this post we will discuss few advantages of scaling with the technology of Content Aware Scaling.
Q:Where is the Content Aware Scaling option in the Adobe Photoshop CS4?

Content Aware Scaling can be used in variety of tasks for example you can used it to transform the background without any changes in the object. (Initially in CS3 we used to do so by various practices and laborious methods). Let’s see how to do so:

1.Choose any image and Select the object area in that image (unlock its background in case it is locked)

2.Refine Edge the selection image and optimized the Feather properties

3.Select the Content Aware Scaling from Edit>Content Aware Scaling Option

4.Scale the image according to your need

   Note:Unadulterated for displaying the important categories, recent news, projects, and featured posts in the blog.
4. Best Foot Forward provides an easy way to automatically create a featured post list by utilizing the Wordpress tagging system.
5. Random Featured Post plugin allows you to display a random post from a designated category.

I used the FeaturedContentGallery and its quite easy to make any customizable plugin based on the jquery. The original concept is the MooTools JavaScript framework used by SmoothGallery from JonDesign. Moreover i also implement the SmoothGallery on headers of the mediaredefined website.

Note: Plugins based on Mootools frameworks often creates problems while working with Jquery. You should check how to resolve JQuery, Prototype, and lightbox issues to make them work on same page.

Till now we used so many scripts and extension to beautify the Gmail contour.Greasemonkey is quite famous in geeks for these scriptious works.Good news is that Google recently launched the official version of Gmail themes and skins.It have wide variety of colors and themed flavors.

In an official post on Google blog it says
“We wanted to go beyond simple color customization, so out of the 30 odd themes we’re launching today, there’s a shiny theme with chrome styling, another one that turns your inbox into a retro notepad, nature themes that change scenery over time, weather driven themes that can rain on your mailbox, and fun characters to keep you in good company. There’s even an old school ascii theme (Terminal) which was the result of a bet between two engineers — it’s not exactly practical, but it’s great for testing out your geek cred. We’ve also done a minor facelift to Gmail’s default look to make it crisper and cleaner — you might notice a few colors and pixels shifted around here and there.”

How to activate Gmail Themes?

In order to activate these theme you have to  go to the Themes tab under Settings. (Settings>Themes>).
