Poop blog!

You put your opinions like they are facts in the context.
Go back to school and try harder to write more professional.

Until you don't show you improve your writing and intellectual skills, this blog is just POOP!

Mr Singh! Thank you for this article. What is your opinion on google's Orkut? Because i heard some comment on web like.... Orkut is a failure product from Google when compared to Facebook. Do you think so?. (But my opinion is when you want to write the History of Facebook, you have to start it from the Orkut. Without mentioning Orkut, the Facebook history won't be a complete one. Am I right or Not?)
But why Orkut failed to reach up to the 'Height' of Facebook? What will be the real reason behind it? If you have time please write an article on this topic

@Andrew Thumbs for the philosophy :)
I don't have any negative intention while listing the mistakes of the Google. Learning is more important than the failure itself but one should learn from the failure of others!

The reason google is so successful is that it is creative. Yes some things (even most things) don't always work, but the things that do work are mind-blowingly simple but game-changing in their scope. That is because they garner lots of experience in developing stuff and learn from their mistakes. Lesson: Don't worry if some things fail. Learn from them.

It's funny to read this 2 years later. Google makes mistakes, but this article is a joke.

Google Chrome a mistake? Well, in retrospect, it's the only browser EVER to stand through both days at PWN2OWN; NEVER having fallen at that event.

Picasa is a great competitor to Flickr, and it's NOT difficult to use.

PayPal has ginormous security issues and needs to go away.

Gmail has a great uptime history. All email has some downtime.

If Google Video didn't feature popular TV shows, perhaps you should place blame where it belongs--with the entertainment industry and it's arcane ideas about copyright, etc.

Web Accelerators don't work well in general, and really aren't needed these days anyway.

Desktop search is a simple and easy way to find things on your computer, and is no more insecure than using a computer running one of the mass-market OSs. They also "phone home." Google, at least, allows you to opt out.

And there is very little in the world that Terrorists can't use to help them with their agenda. To single out Google Maps is idiotic.

@Maxwell
I repect your views and also appreciate the way Google is trying to nurture the internet communities. The points discussed here is not aimed to pull the legs of Google but these points are in discussed to showcase their failed products. We all know Google have the best products but we also should know the areas where they actually failed.
You should also look into few old lists of services offered by google (source: @techim)
