• How to factory format and reinstall the phone firmware in Samsung Galaxy S and other android mobiles

With the help of this post i’ll demonstrate How to Root and Un-Root Android mobiles and devices in One Click with the help of 3rd party app One Click Lag Fix. (You can also search “One Click Lag Fix” on android market)
Note: This app and process of rooting is tested on Samsung Galaxy S I9000

1. Install the applications as described above

a)Either install the apk file.
b)Search on android market for one click lag fix (better option).

2. Click on Application after a successful install

3. Click on Root Device for rooting your android mobile phone

4. Reboot your phone into recovery console and choose the option of sdcard:update.zip

Now, you have successfully rooted your device and have superuser permissions

How to boot the Samsung Galaxy S I9000 into Recovery mode

Note: This key process can be used for android devices without camera buttons.

In order to boot Samsung Galaxy S I9000 into recovery mode you should press the volume up button+Power button+Home button (located at middle). So the process should be:
Step 1. Turn your phone off.
Step 2. Hold down “Volume Up keys” +“Home” and press “Power” until the screen light ups.
Step 3. Press the three keys unlit green screen like below appears:

Congratulations, Your phone will now enter into recovery.

How to Boot the Droid X into Recovery Mode

Step 1. Turn your phone off.
Step 2. Hold down “Home” and press “Power” until the Motorola logo appears.
Step 3. Release ”Power” and continue to hold “Home” until an exclamation appears.

First of all, you have to create the script which you can make easily in Notepad. But before that, make a new folder in C:\ and name it utils. Now open Notepad and paste the following code in it.

Save this file as

“c: \ utils \ CheckMemoryCPU.bat”

Make sure you save it this way otherwise it will just create a text file.

Now, we have to create a shortcut for the script. To do that, right click on your desktop and go to New > Shortcut.

In the location field, locate the file “C:\Utils\CheckMemoryCPU.bat” and click Next.

Name it whatever you want. I named it CheckCPUMemory and click Finish. Now you can use it.

Once the icon is created, open it and it will show you something like this:

It shows you the total and idle process along with other process which are using memory. The second list shows other applications which are running and how much memory they are using.
