After the successful launch of Last.fm for your iPhone ,”Pocket Scrobbler“, an unofficial client for Windows Mobile devices, supporting scrobbling using various media players and featuring (limited) radio capabilities on Pocket PCs  is launched.Their is also a cab file which i tested for my windows mobile 6( Htc-Touch ).

Their is so much demand of windows mobile (wm) version and finally Last.FM has released a version of their service that integrates nicely with the Windows Mobile family of devices. As i told earlier this new package functions as an App, instead of simply a mobile version of the web interface, and includes their popular scrobbling feature.

What is Scrobbler?

Scrobbler is a software which detects the tracks you’re listening to and adds them to your online profile on Last.FM.It basically uses plugins for various types of music listening software, such as Winamp, foobar, Windows Media Player etc .

Who support Scrobbler?

The app is supported mostly by the user community, who tells us that it works on Windows Mobile 5 or 6 and the .NET Compact Framework 2.0 (usually included on WM 6). This latest move by Last.FM, in almost every aspect, continues to show that the spirit that founded the company is alive and well, despite working for the CBS Overlords now.  They’re still in the business of getting their application working with just about every platform in existence, and making your profile usable and viewable from everywhere.

Ok. i know you won’t stop so here is the  7 real reasons to avoid iPhone 3G:

1. Lack of instant messaging : Yes MSN/Windows Live Chat, Google Talk, AIM, ICQ, Facebook are useless for you if you have iphone.It don’t have any inbuild IM Chat Client.So please buy iphone if you want to miss all that.
2. You can’t stream music wirelessly from the iPhone to any supported Bluetooth headsets due to lack of support for Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) and Audio/Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP). (see comments for details)
3. Flash doesn’t work : Apple iphone doesn’t have adobe flash player installed so you can’t view flash enabled websites.So enjoy iphone if you want to miss your games and applications build on flash.
4. Apple may track you: With its licensing and GPS application iPhone may exposes your whereabouts and provides ways for others to track you without your knowledge.
5. iphone doesn’t play patent and DRM free music: Yes its true iphone only players mp3 and AAC formats it don’t have any support for patent and DRM free formats like Ogg Vorbis and Theora.So enjoy iphone if you aren’t aware of this and this is not in your business.
6. Lack of “Cut and Paste” feature: The best feature of iphone is to copy and paste long texts,sentences,phone no contacts etc.It will ease our work by many times that what we call “smartphone”.Iphone doesn’t have this feature so please go and enjoy your ride over iphone 3G if you want to miss this feature
7. Same unupgrade camera: iphone 3g camera can’t cope shots in low-light and still have no flash.More over their isn’t any video recording capability either, even though this has been found on simple phones.You please enjoy your smartphone which can’t have basic features of simple phones.
8. [Updated] Cost Of Iphone In india the cost of iphone is disclosed to be 22k INR onwards which quite enough to say it no.(You may go for it if price doesn’t matter to you)

Now some question are again unanswered like does iphone 3g cost $199? is it a good deal? or you are being fooled? Have you ever think that we have to sign a 2 year deal with a same network.So if we have to buy a iphone on $199 then we have to stick with ATnT and their incensed networks.Suppose we buyed the iphone and they change their network and calling rates.With a high rates does $199 deal is still good?

I just remember the Reliance scheme of “mobile in just 500 INR” offer in india.They issues the mobile phone just for $15 and lakhs of users purchased it but when they got hit by $$ of bills they got terrified.Hence do what ever you want to do but please enquiry about precautions before buying iphone.
