Introduction : Twitter is actually a website that follows micro-blogging, or blogging very short messages. Logging into the Twitter homepage, you will find a window where you can type “tweets” or short messages up to 140 characters. You send it out by clicking on “update” and everyone online and in your network can see that message instantly. Updates of other people will also visible to you. When you register, you can check out other people and other people can also connect to you.

A big buzz has surrounded Twitter, a service that is proving to be very addictive. This service allows its registered users to answer one simple and easy question: “what are you doing right now?”

This website and the features of this website have made it through to different channels and its appearances in different bogs and newspapers and magazines. This only means that everyone seems to be so energized because of Twitter. Everyone is tweeting and having a good time while doing it, leading the more capitalizing people to think: how can Twitter make money?

Any Twitter fan will admit that they have taken Twitter hook, line and sinker. So to harness that, one can safely conclude that the best way to make money on Twitter is by using the tools that it already has and is already familiar to the users. Here are four ways how you can make extra money on Twitter.

Upgrade to Twitter Pro. This is the first step to everything. With Twitter Pro you are getting a paid service that has a lot to offer. You have unlimited number of tweets as compared to the standard account wherein you get a daily or weekly limit. It also allows a Cellphone/Blackberry and Windows Mobile client to use Pro tools that make your tweeting better and more robust. You can make a better statement with Twitter Pro because you use the web to transmit the tweets, so you are sidestepping the overly priced SMS charges. You can also upload tweeting pics and videos.

Merchandise. This is a very trusty way to earn money. You sell stuff online, whether they are items you have produced yourself or otherwise. You get to tell other people what you have to sell and convince them to buy. This on is pretty basic.

Twitter for Business following after Google Apps. This is a customized, safe and secure software that businesses run in their own intranet. BlackBerry and Win Mobile clients are already familiar of this application. Clients or the employees of the clients can easily communicate appointments and tasks because by following this platform, what the company is actually getting is a centralized personal or group communication system. It can be set up to have teams be subscribed to each other’s tweets so they keep in touch with each other’s progress.

Use Twitter for affiliate marketing. This strategy is already used by a lot of affiliate marketers. In addition to the websites where they place links that people can click on, they also send out the links of these websites in their tweets. People who are subscribed to the marketer’s tweets would be able to click on the links and be redirected to your web page.If you want to know more check out few tips for affiliate marketing using twitter.

Who does not want to earn extra cash? Everyone does! Twitter is only one of the many sites that you can use to make some money in. The key to success in this kind of business is to look for ways that you can use to make the website or the features of the website to make money. Be creative!

Do you know surfing for Bollywood news and watching porn is a form of lawbreaking? Yes , their is an amendment in the Information technology Act 2000 Bill 2006 and it has been passed by the Indian Parliament on December 23, 2008.You can’t ignore this because their are several new clauses introduced into this IT act which may seize you and may be sufficient for awarding you an imprisonment or fine which may extend to ten lakh rupees (10,0000 INR).

Do great men smoke?
Did they? Do they? Should they?
Smoking as we all know is the curse of the Beelzebub. We differ in opinions about everything but smoking offers only a mono perspective- a fall. Some might say- “who cares”: all brave souls. But this article isn’t about the effects of doping or about marking a merely delusional remark on the business of smoking industry, or carrying out a brief summary on the clinical cogent evidences about the hazards of smoking.

This article simply puts up a difference, so poignantly ignored, between the great and not so great people, as both of them derive smoking a part of their chauvinism, but clearly forget what the upcoming not so great generations derive from their act.
Let’s start with a Few Great Men. Mahatma Gandhi, for example Smoked. Yes he did when he went abroad to practice law but later he stopped realizing his mistake that it was against religion and law. Did Einstein smoke? He smoked cigar and pipe despite his wife Elsa and his doctors forbid him to smoke. Classic, isn’t it?

What about our American leaders?

Yes, Franklin Roosevelt smoked cigarettes, and held them with an ivory holder. Some modern politically correct publishers are digitally removing FDR’s cigerates from pictures of him. Abraham Lincoln liked to smoke marijuana, Abraham Lincoln had 375 acres of marijuana growing in fields told to be corn behind the white house.

Forbid Leaders, Lets talk about the Musicians, now, as there is no doubt or question to be urged pertaining to drugs but still; John Lennon and the other Beatles were turned on to marijuana by Bob Dylan, and you can bet it wasn’t for religious reasons, it was fun. Now, what about the greatest dictator ever born: Adolf Hitler (1889-1945) was a smoker from 1897 – 1924, and had typical smoker symptoms. Little Adolf was caught smoking when he was eight. So he was expelled, “dismissed . . . because he was caught smoking in the gardens.” Source: Dr. Walter C. Langer, The Mind of Adolf Hitler.

Quit past, what about the present?

ABC News’ Sunlen Miller Reports: Senator Barack Obama told reporters in St. Louis today that he has fallen off the wagon and smoked cigarettes in the last few months.
Once a heavy smoker, he publicly gave up the habit, per his wife’s request, to run for president. Since quitting, Obama has indicated in the past that he has “fallen off the wagon” but before today was not specific about how recent his smoking was. “Months,” Obama said of the last time he has smoked. Obama regularly chews Nicorette while not at campaign events, and the recent release of a doctor’s note from his primary care physician indicated that it has brought him a level of success.

“His own history included intermittent cigarette smoking,” David L. Scheiner, M.D. wrote in a letter released to reporters. “He has quit this practice on several occasions and is currently using Nicorette gum with success.”
Now, the last question, should they smoke? The doctors would say “no”, a teenager would say “right on”, a person of my age would look above and ponder with several repetitive blinks, lighting up a smoke. Thanks for reading this article, and do tell us if you smoke or not!

expected to grow 7.6 per cent annually over the next 10 years, according to the World Travel & Tourism Council. But this rate will certainly slow down after the deadly terrorist attacks in Mumbai, the
financial capitol of India, on the 26th of November, 2008.The India tourism industry has already been stumbling under the impact of the economic crisis, and will now face the inevitable repercussions
of this terror storm.

Note:If you are not an India and want to know about the heritage of India then this incredible India video may disseminate some scenic feel in your mind.

Terrorists scoped out iconic hospitality landmarks like the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower Hotel and the Oberoi Trident in the country’s financial capital unlike previous attacks – sparking fears that the tourism and hospitality sectors will have to grapple with the crippling blow over a long period. The already distressed tourism industry has forecasted a further drop of 10%-15% for inbound tourism due to the assaults and has previously suffered a 20% drop in business due the global meltdown. The terror attack has struck India’s tourist industry at the start of the peak season and Hotels and tour operators have expected a rash of cancellations in the coming days. As the gory pictures of the incidents in Mumbai grab the attention of the world through the media, tour operators have feared a flood of cancellations.

Mumbai is the business hub of the country and one of the favourite tourism attractions for tourists all over the world. It received 10,37,157 foreign tourists in 2006, according to tourism ministry data, second only to Delhi. US and UK citizens have specifically been targeted by the brutal terrorists and this will surely tarnish India’s image as a safe and popular tourist destination. Both the countries together send the maximum number of tourists to India. The terrorists also aimed at Israeli tourists worsening the condition for the tourism industry.

Ministry of Tourism and the Tour Operators along with the hotels have assured travelers that India is a safe destination. India is a large nation and an incident in one place does not impact tourism and day – today life in the rest of the country. There is normal buoyancy in tourism and business in the rest of the country. Well, it is not so and as said above; the tourism industry is bound to suffer badly.

Mumbai has always been brave and resilient in moments of crisis and this time as well, it will rise above the smoke of death and grief and life will be normal. Let’s hope the same for the tourism industry which will have to give its best in order to improve its miserable condition.

The reason behind any formidable output can be turned, twisted or conceptualized by a human mind. But the fear remains constant, unchanged and infrangible for ages, maybe that’s a notion behind these atrociousness delivered. To fill a fear in the minds of innocents: echoing “savagery goes unabated” metaphorically.
About Jehad and LeT Jehadis
LeT’s Jehadis surmount such unexplainable madness derived from Bin Laden’s hate Ideology. Lashkar-e-toiba- inspired, influenced and backed up by Al-qaida -distinguish themselves as Islamic radicals. Ideologically networked Let jehadis specialize in suicide attacks and when cornered, fight to death. It’s a part of a new network of terror, autonomously governed and supported by numerous insurgent organizations, that makes it not elusive but impossible to track down.

Jehad

Ever heard of Jehad-e-Akbar? It means a fight against one’s own self and within the society in order to fight evil, injustice, inequity, illiteracy and ignorance. These words have been tumbled down and presented in such a lop-sided manner of Islam. Jehad against a community or a country can only be declared when the religion’s sanctity is spited; if Muslims are not allowed to go to Mosques, follow their rights, or made to attend madrasas: such can be a situation. There in nothing of that kind in India and the term is used to defame and discredit Islam. Terrorists after losing their moral compass cite Palestine, Chechenya, Iraq and Afghanistan to justify killing of anyone. If oppugn their views, it can be an invitation to elimination. Sura Al-Baqr (verse: 114) in Quran states that Allah hates those who indulge in arson, loot and killings. Sura Al-Kafirun (Chapter: 30) mentions: Lakum dinokum Waley Yadeen (you follow your religion; let them follow theirs). Islam’s very meaning is Submission. In teachings of the Prophet, the whole humanity is known as Rematullil Aalamin (mercy to the whole mankind). The Jehadis pick verses from the Quran, which are contextual and by twisting and bending them, they feel ‘righteous’ to act ‘righteously’. To follow the praxis of confiscating any Muslim into laws has been aboriginal for Indian Police since ages. Muslim voices of sanity aren’t loudly heard either. Exactly in these lines of jehadis, is the mentality of the US that didn’t go seeking Israel for occupying Palestine land, but it did attack Iraq for aggression on Kuwait.

Totally apart from the scene of jehad social networking and micro blogging is emerge together as a source of truthful facts where the people from all over the world discussed about the conceptuality of Jehad and raise a hardcore voice against it.In my personal opinion social micro-blogging tools like Twitter is main source of news to let me update in this recent Mumbai Attack moreover their is a great source of information in the post “Real Time Citizen Journalism in Mumbai Terrorist Attacks” by Gaurav(gauravonomics).

Official says that “When Alexa began displaying rankings in 1998 it was with the goal of showing Alexa Toolbar users how popular any given site was within the Alexa community. We generated the rankings through an analysis of Internet usage by people who use the Alexa Toolbar. Since that time we’ve been delighted to see that the Alexa Rankings have become a yardstick by which website popularity is measured. We are grateful to the thousands of people who come to Alexa.com each day to check the Alexa Rankings.”

Alexa also disclosed that understanding Internet usage beyond aged method of Alexa Toolbar users was increasingly of interest. Its quit obvious that “how could one defined a site raking just by a toolbar ” (you may install the alexa toolbar here)

After the changed algorithms of site ranking alexa officially announce to aggregate data from multiple sources to give us a better indication of website popularity among the entire population of Internet users.

Official Q/A or FAQ’s

From the blog source of alexa below are a few common questions we anticipate from the Alexa community, along with our answers.

My site’s ranking has changed. Was it wrong before?

Your ranking wasn’t wrong before, but it was different. Alexa toolbar users’ interests and surfing habits could differ from those of the general population in a number of ways, and we described some of those possible differences on our website. While the vast majority of sites’ rankings were unaffected by such differences, we’ve worked hard on our new ranking system to adjust for situations in which they could matter.

The new rankings should better reflect the interests and surfing habits of the broader population of Web users.

Why are the long range graphs gone? I can only get 9 months of historical data.

We are recalculating historic traffic data and will continue to add it over the coming weeks. We apologize for the inconvenience, but should have several years of data back on line shortly.

Will you change the rankings again?

We are constantly working to ensure that we provide the most useful data that we can. We will continue to fine tune our algorithms but don’t foresee any additional big changes. If you think something is amiss please let us know.

I liked the old rankings better. Are they still available somewhere?

We liked the old rankings as well. However, we developed the new system in response to the huge number of requests we got from users like you, and now that it’s done we like it even better. We hope you will too.

We think that having more than one ranking system at a time would be confusing, so we have removed the old rankings.

Do you want to know what I think about this?

Definitely. We’ve been collecting suggestions and ideas for months now, and would love to hear more. If you have thoughts on what we’ve done so far, or ideas on what we should do next, please share them with us.

Today when i visited the amit agarwal (labnol) i get encountered with a video stating the horrific conditions under which some bloggers works. This video shows how a group of bloggers used to exploited and compelled to work on and on.
This video is released by barelypolitical.

i really don’t believe on the video but yes this is quite obvious to happen.
Some one hires group of bloggers and their work is to post 10-20 quality articles daily. How come this is possible it will definitely sucks our day and night.
I event tried this for the months of jan 2008 i work more than 19hrs daily this is reasons why i get more than $1500 out of my blog. But after that i don’t have enough courage to do that amount of work again. It completely kills me if i try to do this again.
Anyway this is quite good video

I personally wants to shout that if you are anyone you know is exploiting like this then please let us known with that.I think most of us blogger tries to help them out.

I use to listen the Tibet china matter in reference with Tibetans protest to stop Olympics in China but recently so many questions pops into my mind when i went to mussoorie and finds a Indefinite relay hunger strike by Tibetans. There were lots of facts and images with which i get to know about heart rending facts. It really opened my eyes and i bet after reading this full article you will also realise the pain of Tibet.

This indefinite relay hunger strike by Tibetans in mussorie has been organized to express solidarity and support to the recent Tibetan Freedom Movements in Tibet. It was condemn in strongest term the Chinese security agencies use the brute force on the peaceful Tibetan demonstrators killing over 100 innocents Tibetans.

BURNING FACTS ON TIBET

On Monday,March 10,the 49th anniversary of the Tibetan National Uprising Day,15 monks and 2 laymen staged peaceful pro-Tibet demonstration in Barkor area in Lhasa.Currently there has been no information on the monks whereabouts or their condition.

The flame of freedom thereon spread and monks from Drepung monastery, Lutsang monastery in Amdo and Myera monastery in the neighboring province of Gansu defied authorities by staging a rare march into the streets protesting and shouting slogans for the exiled spiritual leader, the DALAI LAMA, to return. These protests have spread from Lhasa to all over Tibet both in intensity and scale.

The Chinese armed police answered the peaceful protestors with gun fire, batons and curfew.Confirmed reports say that over 100 Tibetans have been killed while several hundred injured.Chinese state news agency Xinhua puts the number to 10.China set a surrender deadline for peaceful protestors and the government offered rewards and protection for informers.

Lhasa, the capatial city, is reeling under extremely tense situation at the moment since the demonstrations. The Chinese authorities have imposed curfew in the entire Lhasa city with entry into city completely cut-off by posting many new check posts at all the entry points into City. All the roads and shops remains closed in the city with heavy presence of armored milatory vehicles and additional contingent of People’s Armed Police (PAP).

Hundreds of Tibetans are arbitrarily arrested in the ongoing house-by-house raid Chinese security force in Lhasa beginning from 15 March 2008.All former political prisoners have already been rounded off and thrown into prison by security forces.

Decades of repression in Tibet and closure of monasteries and violent blockage of peaceful demonstrators by the Chinese authorities have led to the current tension in Tibet.

FEAR AND APPEAL

Tibet wants to express their deepest fear and anxiety that hundreds of Tibetans will tremendously suffer without being noticed for standing up and expressing their opinion in Tibet.

They appeal to the High Commissioner for Human Rights to urgently send UN fact finding mission to Tibet for the first hand assessment of the situation.

They appeal to the International Olympics Committee to start the summer games in China only after the facts on the killing of Tibetans is made known to the world.

They appeal to the international community and all indians to continue their support for the truth and justice.

This whole thing is lead by

Tibetan Youth Congress
Tibetan Women’s Association
Tibetan Freedom Movement

Note: If you bother about tibets and feels the meaning of freedom the please forward this appeal to all your friends as most the world in unrevealed from the actual facts. They only saw what the biased china wants to show. You comments and suggestions are invited
