Using a cell phone as a landline

Using a cell phone as your primary phone line is becoming increasingly common. I think as long as you can get adequate reception in your home and don’t make many international calls, you can make it work. And yes, it can be cheaper than paying two phone bills. Just be sure to include enough minutes in your plan to cover all your calls, and be sure you get free long distance with your mobile carrier (most do). If you’re looking for a cell phone docking system, we have reviewed three models: the RCA Cell Phone Docking System, the CellAntenna CellDock 1000, and the Motorola SD4500. RCA’s product is the better of the three, in our opinion

    Just my luck, I’m in a bit of pickle, I have had my Apple iPhone 3G for the past couple of years and it’s been fine. It is my understanding that Apple has a new update due out called OS 4 and it’s supposed to be adding some new bells & whistles to the Apple iPhone. I actually just bought Verizon’s new HTC Incredible the HTC Incredible and it is an awesome phone, way better than the iphone, BUT I’m hearing that Apple is going to be coming out with a completely redesigned iphone altogether, and it’s supposed to be really nice but no one has any ideas as to when and Apple isn’t saying a thing. Should I keep my HTC Incredible, that I have 30 days to test and send it back if I don’t want to keep it, or should I return it, keep my current apple iphone and wait for the release for the new iPhone- tough to decide.

    Great info on cell phone unlocking. I like cellular phones and work at a little cell phone shop where we unlock phones and mod them for people. Add http://free-cell-phone-unlock.com to your list of free cell phone unlock sites, I use the downloads there a lot to help me unlock phones for customers, don’t be mad but hey I have to make a living some kinda way!! lol.

    Anyways, I figured you could use that in your bag of tricks too :-)
